ST.PATRICKS´S DAY WORKS II (6TH GRADE)



ST. PATRICK DAY 

St. Patrick's Day is celebrated annually on March 17 to commemorate the death of Saint Patrick, Patron  of Ireland. It is a national holiday in the Republic of Ireland and a party out of habit and not official in Northern Ireland. Today, St. Patrick's Day is probably the most widely celebrated saints in the world.
 St. Patrick's Day is celebrated worldwide for all Irish and even people who have no Irish ancestry. The celebration usually resolves themed everything is green and Irish; Christians and non-Christians celebrate the feast regularly dressing in green, enjoy Irish cuisine which includes alcohol Irish drinks, and attending parades. Some establishments selling beer dyed green for the holiday.

St. Patrick´s Day

March 17th is Saint Patrick's Day, when the death of St. Patrick, or St. Patrick, who is the patron saint of Ireland is commemorated. In the United States Saint Patrick's Day is celebrated in style because many Americans are of Irish origin. Today it is celebrated by almost anyone, whether or not Irish ancestry.

There are parades in cities like New York, New Orleans, Chicago or Boston, the 17th day prior to Sunday.
Bars, pubs and restaurants offer dyed green beer, and typically also wear some green color. Even people wearing green hats or shirts with collars and four leaf clover. That day of the luck of the Irish or the luck of the Irish is spoken. Many locals also sing Irish songs while guests drink beer.


Leprechauns
leprechauns, pixies are of Irish mythology. Is said to be engaged in mending shoes, and who keep their currencies in a golden bowl at the end of the rainbow.
